What have you been misunderstanding about childcare?

    As you walk up to the building you immediately need a PIN number to get into the daycare or call and be let in. Then a friendly manager greets you to take you on a tour. There are two sides to the daycare, the baby side and the big kid side. As you walk into the baby side there are 4 classes each designed to fit the needs of the age range. The first two rooms are for babies 3 weeks old to 6 months old. As you walk into the rooms there are bright colorful posters that welcome in any visitor. If you walk in near bottle times be prepared to hear some hungry cries. "Right before feeding times is probably the hardest part of the day haha" proclaims a kiddie academy teacher. For the older kid side the classrooms are loud with all the excited laughter from the children playing with their friends. Each class room has activity centers and lots of space for the children to play. The rooms are beautifully decorated with different crafts from the class. They are are filled with all the exciting colors of the rainbow pulling your eye into each cute craft. As you walk in the adorable children immediately shower you in questions and hugs. "Seeing the little smiling faces of the children I've grown to love running towards me for a hug makes my whole day" a kiddie academy worker expresses.    
    The many activities are posted on the daycare's Facebook page. Kiddie academy focus on instilling good life lessons in the children. Every year there's a kindness month where children are taught how to be kind to all people. Kiddie academy runs a food drive to show kindness to troops over seas. Other activities that are shown on the facebook page are the mothers day and fathers day parties so parents can have the memories with their little ones saved forever. during the summer the children are given the option of participating in a summer camp which allows them to do more hands on learning experiences. 
    The benefits of sending children to daycare are the many learning and social interactions that are available. Children from a year to three years old get American sign language lessons to help with their language skills. Before they can even speak the children are able to say what they want and use proper manners, this cuts down on temper tantrums and frustrated parents. Kids also learn different life skills like friendship, honesty, patience, as well as how to play nicely with others. The decision to send kids to day care is always a tough decision, but when the decision is made kiddie academy is always the first choice.
